Lucy Hazlegrove is a graduate of the Rhode Island School of Design and Hollins University. Born in St. Louis, Missouri, she has lived in Roanoke the past 31 years. Hazlegrove has exhibited in New England, Michigan, Virginia, and North Carolina. She has twice been a fellow at the Virginia Center for the Creative Arts in Amherst, Virginia, and she is a founding member of Roanoke's Open Studios.
