Where can I get a brochure and map?
Free brochures for the Open Studios Tour are available at the front desk of the Taubman Museum.

You can download and print your own copy of the brochure and map, or just the map, from our web site. Click on the Brochure or Map links. A new brochure and map for 2012 will be available in April.

You can have a brochure mailed to you by sending an email to Lucy Hazlegrove, lhazle@cox.net. Be sure to include your mailing address!

Brochures with maps are also available at The Market Gallery, Gallery 108, Southern Graphics, and many other popular retailers all over the Roanoke Valley.

On the tour weekend the sites listed on the map will be plainly marked with OPEN STUDIOS signs and banners.

What are the dates of the tour?
Saturday and Sunday April 28 & 29, 2012.

What are the hours the studios are open?
Saturday 10am-5pm and Sunday Noon-5pm

Can I visit the studios any other time?
Yes, our phone numbers are listed when you click on our names on this website, so that you can make an appointment any time of the year.

How many artists are involved this year?
We have 19 member artists. New guest artists will be chosen by April.

Does the tour cost anything?
The tour is free.

Is it OK if I bring along my children?
Children are especially welcome! Many of us teach children and love to show them how things are made.

Will there be food or drinks?
We serve light refreshments such as cookies or pretzels. Each artist chooses what they will serve. Drinks are simple and nonalcoholic.
